Workflow Automation On Workspace UI
Workflow Automation On Workspace UI
Workflow Status Indicator in Data Card View
If an issue has triggered the workflow engine and workflow automation is running on the issue, then the user can see the current status of the workflow in the data card view:
The workflow status indicator can have the values: running, finished, error, and cancelled.
Users with edit rights to the corresponding issue can also click on the workflow status indicator and cancel the workflow process.
Showing Approvals in Workspace UI
It should be made easy for users to find pending and completed approvals from the Workspace.
Therefore, it is recommended to create ready views for users that collect all approvals assigned to them in one view.
In order to create ready-made views for users, the administrator should create views for the corresponding roles of the user (Change Advisory Board team member, manager, knowledge base reviewer, etc). The view should be limited to the approvals assigned to the user itself with the following advanced condition on the Approval template (Approver=>Efecte user) making use of the previously defined Extended User Permissions:

If the user does not belong to any other role than being a manager/supervisor making approvals for service requests or generic issues, then a role Approver should be created to which the users should be assigned in order to access the approvals views.

The role Approver does not need to have any template or folder permissions except the module permission to the module holding the Approval template (the organization module in baseline configuration).
