Conversational AI platform (CAI) 2025.3 Release notes

Executive Summary

This release (2025.3.0) brings significant enhancements to the CAI Platform, strengthening both agent and end-user experiences. Key highlights include the introduction of Knowledge Discovery for Agents, expanded Knowledge Discovery with streaming for end users, deeper AI Core integration, and new agent performance statistics directly in the admin panel.

In addition, this version improves customization options for the widget UI, enhances notifications in TeamsBot, and provides better guidance for developers building FAAS functions. Together, these updates make the CAI Platform more powerful, easier to manage, and better integrated into enterprise workflows.

 

New Features

IEI-12058 – Knowledge Discovery for Agents

A new capability has been added to deliver Knowledge Discovery directly to agents inside the agent-widget embedded in ESM.

Agents can now access organizational knowledge in real-time.

Improves resolution speed and accuracy by reducing reliance on manual search.

IEI-11911 – Knowledge Discovery for End Users + Streaming

Enhancements to the end-user experience:

Streaming responses make chatbot conversations faster and more natural.

Improved RAG-powered Knowledge Discovery ensures accurate answers from organizational sources.

IEI-12390 – KD Conversation Adjustments & AI Core Integration

Native AI Core integration within the CAI Platform.

Support for streaming responses in RAG conversations.

Forwarding from NLP pipelines into RAG for smoother query handling.

General improvements to the RAG configuration panel.

IEI-12032 – Agent Detailed Stats in Admin Panel

Live chat agent performance statistics are now available directly in the admin panel.

Provides real-time insights into agent productivity and efficiency.

IEI-11316 – Customization of Contact Form Icon

Admins can now remove or change the envelope icon on the widget contact form.

Improves visual flexibility and alignment with branding.

IEI-11773 – TeamsBot RfD Preparations

Added new notifications for both agents and end users in TeamsBot.

Prepares the platform for the upcoming TeamsBot Request for Discussion (RfD) release.

IEI-11963 – FAAS Function Guide

Added in-platform guide to help developers build FAAS functions.

Makes custom function creation more accessible and straightforward.
