Service Items in ESS

Understanding and Managing Service Items

Service items, representing the actual services and products users request, are managed within the Efecte Self-Service administration view and are intrinsically linked with Service Offerings.

Display and Configuration

When the number of service items per offering surpasses ten, they are displayed in a dropdown list with a type-ahead search functionality by default. The mode of display – either in a dropdown list or as icons – can be adjusted on the settings page.

Limitations and Editing

It's worth noting that a single service offering can accommodate up to 500 service items, and 10,000 items overall in the whole ESS.

Viewing Options

Enabling the “Display service items in one row” option alters the service item selection page to showcase all items in a singular, horizontal row. 

When this option is activated and space in the content area becomes limited, navigation arrows will appear, assisting users in locating their desired service items.
