Executive Summary
Release 2025.2 of the Self-service portal (ESS) enhances the widely used multi-item shopping cart feature by allowing additional information to be included for requested items. Previously, this additional information could only incorporate values from drop-down fields. With the latest update, it can now also include details from text and description fields, provided the administrator has enabled these options in the configuration.
The new release also introduces the ability to define and send codes for static drop-down values to ESM, improving support for multi-language environments. This feature enables administrators to send codes instead of values to match directly to correct static value on the created data card. Additionally, we've optimized the way of sending multi-value MyServices to the ESM. Administrators can optionally enable a new format for sending this data, ensuring that no parsing is required and allowing for straightforward mapping to target data cards.
This version supports the following languages:
Czech, Croatian, Danish, English (GB & US), Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Polish, Russian, Spanish and Swedish.
The following browsers are supported:
- Google Chrome (131.0 or newer)
- Microsoft Edge (131.0 or newer)
- Mozilla Firefox (133.0 or newer)
- Mozilla Firefox ESR (128.5.esr)
- Safari (18.0 or newer)
The only supported database for this release is PostgreSQL version 15.
Note
This version of Efecte Self-Service requires:
Efecte Identity Management version 2020.3.0 or newer.
Efecte Service Management version 2025.1.0 or newer.
ESS doesn't have anymore support for Dutch language starting release 2025.1 onwards.

New features
ESS-19061 Form data for shopping cart
Release note
Administrator can configure other details to be visible on the shopping cart view when end user is adding multiple items. Configuration option for “Show as item details” is extended to MyService fields, text fields and date fields.
CP-7698: Sending code attribute with additional informations
Release note
For MyServices or drop-downs where the “Amount selection” is “Several items”, on the Codes tab, there is a new checkbox for “Send multi-value as separate value tags”. Checkbox is only available when “Use as ESM template attribute” is enabled.
For static drop-down fields, on the Codes tab shall be new checkbox for “Send static value codes to ESM”. It will be only available when “Use as ESM template attribute” is enabled.
