This article defines how to define, configure and publish service offerings catalogue for the ESS2.

First, the ESM administrator needs to decide which template will be used as service catalogue template. This is used to publish order catalogue for the ESS2. E.g. in latest Efecte baseline the template ‘Self-service Item’ is used for catalog.

In case there are no proper templates to use from ESM, please contact your consultant.

Price on Orderable Item Page

The orderable item's price symbol or abbreviation is picked from the Price attribute prefix or suffix - depending on which exists in the template.

Product Images on Catalogue

To show product images on the ESS2 catalog and product items, the admin must configure the ESM to support it. The catalogue administrator can add up to five images to the configured FileUpload attribute to be presented on the ESS2 product item. The catalog item needs the FileUpload attribute with code images. 

Please note that the ESM UI doesn't limit the number of image files that can be uploaded to the data card.  For more information, please contact your consultant.

The optimal ratio for product images is 1:1, and all images will be downscaled to the product catalog to visualize it correctly. The catalog page (list of orderable items) is using resolution 280x280 pixels for product images, and the service item detailed page uses 304 x 304 pixels resolution images.
