Exporting Existing Catalog

You can populate the service catalog of your new tenant with services from an existing service catalog of another tenant using the Export and Import functions.

1. Log in as an administrator to the admin view of the tenant with an existing service catalog.
2. Select Settings > Export.
3. Transfer the services you want to export to the Selected service offerings field.
4. Click Export.

A YAML file is created, and you can save it to a location of your choice. This file can include one or multiple services.

Importing Catalog to a New Tenant

When importing the YAML file, all its service offerings are imported. Imported service offerings are unpublished, and they do not have item images. MyService and approver information will be filled if the target system has an identical configuration to match.

1. Log in to the admin view of the target tenant.
2. Select Services > Add > Services from File.
3. Click Select file and locate the YAML file you want to import. When the file is selected, you'll see the number of services to be imported.
4. Confirm the import by clicking Yes.
5. Assign a support channel and publish the imported services.
