Event-based Efecte connector task is used when writing data from Efecte ESM towards another Efecte ESM. EPE Administrators are able configure connection to Efecte ESM using the EPE admin UI. Processes can be run event-based triggered by Visual Workflow Automation.

Common use cases are:

• An IGA Administrator wants to assign manual access right requests from Efecte ESM to another Efecte ESM installation. IGA Admin task template is used for this kind of actions. 
• An ITSM Administrator wants to assign tickets to vendors or other partners that are using also Efecte ESM. Incident template is used for this kind of actions.
  
   

Step-by-Step instructions

1. Open the Efecte Administration area (a cogwheel symbol) in right upper corner. 

2. Open IGA view
 

3. Choose Add a new task
 

4. Choose Efecte ESM from the Add a new task list 
 

5. Fill in unique Name and uniqueIdentifierId for the provisioning task

6. Fill in Properties section, where information for the connection is defined.

7. Fill in Efecte ESM Template Mapping. It is mandatory to set Source and target Template code name and folder code. It is possible to set attributes, which are read from source to target, by choosing Add property→ Add custom property

8. Save provisioning task from the top bar

9. The next step is to configure the workflow to use this event-based task. From workflow engine in Efecte Service Management platform, it is possible to execute provisioning activities towards target ESM. This means that any of the available Activity's can be run at any point of the workflow.
