Executive Summary
The Efecte Self-Service portal (ESS) 2024.1 release includes a new configuration option that allows datacard content to be synchronized in both directions. For example, if an agent updates data content in the ESM that was originally created by the ESS connection, and if this new polling option is enabled and configured, the data can be updated on the ESS side to override the content the user initially added.
This version supports the following languages:
Czech, Croatian, Danish, Dutch, English (GB & US), Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Polish, Russian, Spanish and Swedish.
The following browsers are supported:
- Google Chrome
- Microsoft Edge
- Mozilla Firefox
- Mozilla Firefox ESR
- Safari 16.5 or newer
The only supported database for this release is PostgreSQL version 15.
Note
This version of Efecte Self-Service requires:
Efecte Identity Management version 2020.3.0 or newer.
Efecte Service Management version 2021.3 or newer.

ESS-19195 CP-7402: Configurable polled attributes

The new setting “Poll from ESM” is introduced to, and it is available under "Codes" tab for incidents and service requests. If the setting is enabled, the data from the ESM field defined in Code will be fetched to ESS. It is possible to poll unique fields with 20 different codes used on a single connector.
