Changes to datasourceid mappings

Datasourceid related mapping changes in 2025.2 release

IGA Native Connectors scheduled tasks datasourceid mapping was changed in 2025.2 release.

In previous versions mapping was “datasourceid”, but now in 2025.2 version we have two different mapping attributes instead of it: “datasource type” and “task id”.

Old datasourceid(connector name) mapping will be changed to task id number (task id that mapping is mandatory). And as extra optional mapping there is datasource type. Task id mapping is used when determining if account/group was removed from source system and should be set to deleted/removed/inactivated status in Matrix Core, Pro and IGA solution.

Previously datasourceid mapping was part of mapping table, but now new mapping configuration are on same place with target template and target folder mappings.

Recommendations

Recommended code for new datasource type attribute: dataSourceType and name for that attribute: DataSource Type.

Use task id, if you need to know exactly from which task datacard was created/updated.

Use data source type, if more general knowledge is enough, for example to separate on-prem AD accounts from Entra ID accounts.
