Efecte Service Management Tool 2023.1.0.2 release notes
Executive Summary
The ESM 2023.1.0.2 minor version includes one security fix related to public views and one quality fix related to the Visual Workflow Analyzer (WVA).
The Efecte Service Management Tool (ESM) 2023.1.0 major release introduced several security and performance security improvements, a new workflow logger, two new features for facilitating commenting with ESS2, and 14 bug fixes. The release also introduced features and fixes related to Efecte Provisioning Engine (EPE) and Efecte Secure Access (ESA), such as the capability to create local users with the combination of VWA's Orchestration node and provisioning tasks. Also, several features for extending the Efecte Chat capabilities were included.

Bug fixes
- CP-7334: User permission issue in public views
- The ESM 2022.4.0 version included a bug related to user permissions in public views, which allowed users to view data outside of assigned access rights via existing public views in certain specific scenarios.
- The issue was limited to the public view functionality, which is used to share list views of datacards. The issue scope was limited to users who had permission to log in to ESM.
- CP-6619: Workflows get stuck in 'Wait' node
- Some workflows created with the Visual Workflow Analyzer (VWA) got stuck in case the trashcan was emptied.
- The issue occurred when the following scenario:
- A new version of a workflow had been published;
- existing datacards were running in an old version of the workflow; and
- the trash can was emptied.
