Efecte Secure Access (ESA) 2024.2 Release Notes

Efecte Secure Access (ESA) is an authentication component for the Efecte platform. ESA provides authentication & authorization capabilities to the Efecte platform, including Efecte Self-Service and Efecte Service Management.

Discover the new features and enhancements included in the Efecte Secure Access 2024.2.0 release, providing users with improved functionality and security for their access management needs.

Executive summary

Implementation of support for Azure multi-tenant issuer validation

Multi-tenant is supported and ESA works with all of the authentication protocols supported by the Microsoft Entra ID (OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0, SAML 2.0, WS-Federation). Note if authentication needs to restrict users from specific organizations from signing-in ESA, you need to validate the issuer of the tokens and accept tokens only from specified authorities then multi tenancy is now also supported. The ESA admin UI allows multiple issuers, enabling a comma-separated list of values for the ‘Issuer’ property.

You can find the complete list of improvements and fixes included within the 2024.2 ESA release below.
