IGA Admin Task Management


In this use case is described how IGA Admin receives notifications and manual tasks for further actions.  



Use Case Description


This use case contains all functionalities for all Efecte IGA Packages, different package content has been marked

* Add-on to IGA Starter package

** IGA Growth package

*** Only available for IGA Enterprise package



Description

Overview

IGA solution is centralized point for user lifecycle and access right management, this use case describes IGA Admin tasks, views and actions that are mandatory to manage.

Prerequisites

Customer has pointed IGA Admin role to at least one Person, preferably to two Persons. Admins are managed by adding users to Efecte_IGA_Admins Directory Group.

Result

IGA solutions manual requests, exceptions, notifications and other daily tasks are successfully handled. 

Operating chain

  1. IGA admin opens Efecte IGA solutions Admin Console

  2. IGA Admin has own Kanban board for administration task management

  3. There are four (4) different category’s for IGA administration tasks:

    1. Exception

      • When workflow is not completed successfully

      • When mandatory attributes are missing 

      • When information is missing, and configured automation rules cannot perform successfully 

      • If provisioning engine cannot connect to source- or target systems

    2. Manual Access Right Requests

      • Manual provisioning tasks (requests that are managed manually)

    3. Re-certification** tasks

      • When Re-certification** is declined from Self-Service Portal and *Re-certification request does not included automated removal

    4. Solution information

      • **Source system integration content, attached to IGA Request (daily), if integration on file-based

Customer can define these configuration changes, without them affecting the projects schedule or work estimations.

Configuration instructions

  1. Go to IGA Administration Task and workflow called "IGA Task: Manual access"
    • Check the workflow nodes 
    • Publish the workflow

  2. Test the IGA Administration management
    • Test user must be Efecte ESM admin. Admins are usually managed by Efecte_IGA_Admins Directory Group
    • Test that user can handle manual requests
    • Test that user can handle exceptions
