Attribute Metadata - Is Reference Show Selected
isReferenceShowSelected metadata is a general meta data setting for Reference attributes. It changes the default way of presenting Reference values to an embedded table showing target data cards' selected attributes values.
This feature is available in Refreshed Efecte (E7) only.
This feature is available for REFERENCE attributes only.
Consider the following example:
- A template contains an attribute named
Support groupwhich is of typeREFERENCEandisReferenceShowSelectedmetadata is set totrue. - The target template
Support grouphas the following attributes marked as selected:Group name, Group members. - When viewing the data card of the
referrertemplateSupport groupvalues are rendered as an embedded table with two headers:Group nameandGroup members. - When a row in the table is clicked, a modal window is opened presenting the target data card.
