Executive Summary

The Efecte Self-service 2023.3.0 release significantly improves the accessibility of the product. The new accessibility mode comes with multiple improvements that help with the usability of Efecte Self-service. We are also introducing the new My Employees page to allow managers to see more relevant information in the Self-service portal. Additionally, we have enhanced form configuration flexibility by enabling admins to add multiple options for conditionally showing a dropdown menu.

This version supports the following languages:

Czech, Croatian, Danish, Dutch, English (GB & US), Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Polish, Russian, Spanish and Swedish.

The following browsers are supported:

• Google Chrome
• Microsoft Edge
• Mozilla Firefox
• Mozilla Firefox ESR
• Safari 16.5 or newer

The only supported database for this release is PostgreSQL version 15.

Features

• ESS-16429 Accessibility mode for ESS
  • ESS introduces accessibility mode, which includes multiple accessibility improvements, without interfering with the familiar user experience for all users. Accessibility mode selection persists, so users don't need to make the selection again at the time of the next login. Some minor changes made as part of the Accessibility mode also improve the usability for all users.

    Note

    It is not possible to configure the colors of accessibility mode, as there are requirements concerning the contrasts of different elements.

  • The new "My Employees" page collects information related to the manager's employees. This allows better visibility into, for example, access rights or assets related to the employees.

  • It is now possible to add multiple options to single-item drop-down visibility conditions. This allows admins to make more complex forms with added conditionality.
